Samsung typically brings a lot of improvements with each new version of One UI, and One UI 6.1.1 is no exception. Launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in July, One UI 6.1.1 brings a few improvements to make copying and moving files easier.
One UI 6.1.1 has a new UI that makes it easier to copy and move files using the Your Files app
With One UI 6.1.1, Samsung has added a new UI element to the Your Files app that appears when users copy or move files from one folder to another.
As you can see in the video below when a file is copied or moved to another folder, a pop-up appears, showing the existing folders.
The pop-up has tabs at the top to help users access storage options more quickly, including internal storage, external storage, and cloud. In the video above, you can see the pop-up showing OneDrive, Google Drive, and Internal Storage.
Once the task is complete, a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen, allowing you to quickly access the folder you moved or copied the file to.
For now, the new UI is only available on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6, as they are the only Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1.1 at the moment. This change will come to more Galaxy phones and tablets as Samsung rolls out One UI 6.1.1 to more products.
