Samsung has just released a new update for the Galaxy Tab S10+, which brings two security-related improvements.
First, the new update adds a Restricted option to Auto-Block. According to Samsung, this new option does not allow any other USB devices except the charger to be connected to the Galaxy Tab S10+. This improves the security of the product.
Second, the update includes the November 2024 security patches, which fix more than 50 security vulnerabilities.
So far, Samsung has provided a new update for the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Tab S10+ in the US, which has the model number SM-X828U. The company will soon provide this update to the unlocked variants and to other markets in the coming days. The baseband version of the new software for the SM-X828U is X828USQS2AXJ7.
