Samsung launched the Exynos 2400 a while ago, but the information surrounding this chip is still a mystery. It is reported that the Korean company is very confident in the Exynos 2400's GPU and they claim that its GPU performance is better than that of its competitors. Now, a new source continues to post some details related to this processor.
According to leak expert Revegnus, the Exynos 2400 will be manufactured based on an improved 4nm process with better performance. Not only that, it also integrates the Xclipse 940 GPU which seems to be even faster than the A17 Pro. This is the result of cooperation between Samsung and AMD. Previously leaked Geekbench OpenCL scores showed that the Exynos 2400 has comparable performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Samsung is expected to use Exynos 2400 for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ in many countries around the world, possibly including Vietnam. This new chipset is mass-produced using Fan-Out Wafer Level Packaging technology, or FOWLP for short. This is a technology that helps the processor have a more compact size and have better thermal and electrical performance than usual.
Samsung's chip foundry is often criticized for producing hotter processors than TSMC. Therefore, the new packaging technology is expected to help Exynos 2400 thinner and better heat dissipation. However, we advise you not to get too excited about the information regarding this chipset. Previously, we had high hopes for the Xclipse 920 GPU on the Exynos 2200, after rumors circulated that it would destroy the competition, but the actual results were disappointing.
There is only about a month left until the Galaxy S24 will officially launch. Samsung is expected to hold the Unpacked event on January 17, 2024, in the United States. In the near future, more information about this product line will appear. So always follow SamNews so you don't miss any new news.
