Samsung's Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update brings screen recording at a frame rate of 120 FPS.

With each new One UI 6.0 beta, Samsung continuously adds new features and bug fixes. Recently, the ability to record screens at a frame rate of 120 FPS was added.

We have spotted the fifth beta of One UI 6.0 adding the ability to record screens at a frame rate of 120 FPS. Previously, this number only stopped at 60 FPS.

Samsung's high-end devices and many mid-range Galaxy devices are equipped with screens with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Most of the remaining mid-range Galaxy devices have a maximum screen refresh rate of 90 Hz. I expect the screen recording experience to be stable when One UI 6.0 stable is released.

With higher frame rates, screen recordings will look smoother on supported Galaxy devices.
