Samsung has stopped rolling out software updates for some of its older products, namely the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the Galaxy Tab S7 series.
In a recent announcement, Samsung confirmed that it will stop providing software updates for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. This phone was launched in late 2020 as an upgraded version of the Galaxy Z Flip. Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G's hardware was upgraded, bringing 5G support. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, which was launched a year later, had many more changes.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is no longer supported by Samsung's software after four years. Android 13 is the last version of the operating system that the product supports.
In addition, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ have also stopped receiving software updates, with Android 13 being the last version of the operating system that they support. Samsung stopped rolling out software updates for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE earlier, while the Galaxy Tab S8 series still gets quarterly security updates.
