The June 2024 security patch fixes 53 security vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices
The June 2024 security patch fixes 53 discovered vulnerabilities. Therefore, the update will make your Galaxy phones and tablets more secure. Of these, 40 patches come from Google and 13 patches come from Samsung.
There are 37 patches marked as โhighโ priority. Meanwhile, there is a patch for a bug included in the May 2024 security patch. Additionally, Google provides two patches that do not apply to Galaxy devices.
There are 13 patches available specifically for Galaxy phones and tablets. Among them, there is one patch marked with "severe" priority, and four patches are marked "high". According to Samsung, eight patches are marked as having "medium" priority.
The June 2024 security patch will start rolling out to most high-end Galaxy phones in the next few days. Some regions will receive the update sooner than others. As usual, high-end phones and tablets will be given priority over mid-range and low-cost devices.
