Samsung recently started rolling out One UI 6.1 to its mid-range devices, starting with the Galaxy A54. Today, the company continues to release important software updates for two other mid-range phone models, Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33.
The update for the Galaxy A73 has a capacity of about 2.6GB, currently being rolled out in Malaysia with the code name A736BXXU7EXDC. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A33 also started receiving One UI 6.1 in Singapore. The update has a capacity of more than 2GB with code name A336EDXU8EXDD. Both software versions still come with Samsung's April 2024 security patch.
It's no surprise that neither the Galaxy A73 nor the Galaxy A33 get any AI features. Even the Galaxy S21 only receives the Search Zone feature from Galaxy AI. Currently only the Galaxy S22 series and above have most of the best AI features from the Galaxy S24.
If you are using these two products, try checking for new updates by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Because the updates are quite large, make sure the battery is fully charged and using a Wi-Fi connection so the download process is not interrupted.
