Samsung finally released a September 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe. With One UI 6.1.1 just released for the Galaxy S24 series and a few other high-end phones and tablets, the release of the September 2024 security update has been delayed by a few weeks.
Galaxy S24 receives September 2024 security update in European countries
The new software update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra is now available across Europe with baseband version S92xBXXS3AXHD and download sizes ranging from 288MB (for Galaxy S24) to 451.53MB (for Galaxy S24 Ultra). The September 2024 update patches 67 security vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.
If you own a Galaxy S24 series phone and live in Europe, you can manually check if the update has landed on your device. Just navigate to the Settings app โ Software update โ Download and install.
This update does not bring any new features to the Galaxy S24 series but focuses on improving the privacy, reliability, and security of the product.
