Samsung has started rolling out One UI 6.1.1 to eligible devices. While it brings a lot of new features, the update also removes some of the features that One UI 6.1 offers.
One of them is “Auto-rotate Widgets” for Smart Widgets. When you stack widgets and turn on “Auto-rotate Widgets,” the system will automatically rotate between widgets to show you the most suitable widget by learning how you use your device.
On Reddit, a user reported that after installing One UI 6.1.1 on their Galaxy phone, they couldn’t find the “Auto-rotate Widgets” option. Many said that the feature didn’t work properly because the widgets weren’t rotating at all. Others said that it was a useful feature.
Perhaps Samsung removed the feature because it wasn’t working properly. Regardless, the company should have found a fix instead of removing it completely.
It’s possible that Samsung removed “Auto-rotate Widgets” with an update to Samsung Home instead of One UI 6.1.1. It’s unclear whether Samsung has actually removed the feature or not. Until that’s clear, you can read our article to learn about all the improvements and new features in One UI 6.1.1.
