Samsung has now started rolling out the stable One UI 6.0 for Galaxy S22 users. The update will be available to those participating in the beta program first, before being released worldwide.

Galaxy S22 users in Europe participating in the One UI 6.0 Beta will receive the stable version first, just like what Samsung did with the Galaxy S23 series. So, we can expect the update to also be available for devices running Android 13. It has a codename ending with the string DWK4 and is just about 300MB in size. However, for those who have Android 13 pre-installed, the update may weigh more than 3GB.

If you are using Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, you can also check for the update based on Android 14 by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Before doing this, back up any important data to make sure nothing goes wrong.

A few days ago, an admin of the Samsung user forum revealed the One UI 6.0 update schedule based on Android 14 for Galaxy devices. Accordingly, the Galaxy S22 series will receive this update on November 15, which is yesterday. However, for some reason, this schedule has been taken down and until now, Galaxy S flagship models launched in 2022 have only begun to be upgraded to One UI 6.0.
