Samsung has just released the One UI 7.0 Beta 3 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The update is now available for users in South Korea, India, Germany, and many other countries. The update is expected to be rolled out to beta participants in other markets such as the United States soon. In Poland and India, this is only Beta 2.
In mid-December, the One UI 7.0 testing program was expanded to Poland and India for the Galaxy S24 series. This coincides with major markets like the US, UK, Germany, South Korea, and China receiving Beta 2. These regions have been experiencing Beta 1 since early December. With the latest Beta 3 update, Samsung has also integrated the January 2025 security patch.
The update, which carries the build number ZXLJ and is around 1.3GB in size (for the Galaxy S24 Ultra), comes with a host of bug fixes and improvements. According to the changelog, this build has improved features like the vertical app drawer, Game Booster, Samsung Messages, Quick Panel, Now Bar, lock screen, and edge panels, among others, to enhance the user experience.
While there have been rumors that Samsung might expand the One UI 7.0 beta program to other Galaxy devices after the Beta 3 release, this has yet to materialize. As of now, only the Galaxy S24 series has received this beta update. Itβs possible that Samsung will release the stable update directly to other devices without going through the testing phase.
Samsung is expected to release at least one more beta update before rolling out the stable version later this month. The official update is expected to be announced alongside the Galaxy S25 launch event on January 22. Other Galaxy devices could get the update after the new flagship launches, possibly in February 2025.
