Samsung has finally ended the One UI 6.0 Watch Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. The stable version is now available for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in South Korea. Other markets will also receive the update soon.
One UI 6.0 Watch stable version arrives on the Galaxy Watch 5 series
Samsung has released the One UI 6.0 Watch stable version for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The update is now available for Galaxy Watch 5 series owners who are part of the One UI Watch Beta Program. Other users should expect the stable version in the coming days.
In a notice sent to Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users who are part of the One UI Watch Beta Program, Samsung said that it will not be releasing any new betas and advised users to switch to the stable version.
What's new in One UI 6.0 Watch?
One UI 6.0 is based on Wear OS 5. There are a few notable new features, including personalized health recommendations, AI sleep algorithms, and personalized workout routines.
The update also introduces a new default font, a new charging animation with charging information, an improved Quick Panel, and a double-pinch gesture. Additionally, One UI 6.0 Watch brings a new UI for ongoing activities.
There's a new app called Samsung Find. There are also new tiles for Alarms, body composition, Batteries, Calculators, world clocks, sleep, stress, weather, and weather forecasts. The Calculator app's UI has also been improved. Finally, you can limit health features when Battery Saver mode is enabled.
