Samsung was planning to launch the One UI 7.0 Beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in late July 2024. However, the plan was postponed as the company needed more time to finalize the new update. Recently, there were rumors that the first One UI 7.0 beta update will be released next week.

The first One UI 7.0 beta update could be released on November 17

According to popular leaker @UniverseIce, Samsung could launch the One UI 7.0 Beta program on November 17, 2024. This prediction is in line with previous reports that the update would be released in mid-November. Several other reports have also mentioned a similar timeline for Samsung's next major software update.

The One UI 7.0 Beta update is expected to be available first for the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea and the US. The program is likely to expand to other countries later, including China, Germany, India, Poland, and the UK.

Samsung typically launches a new One UI beta in the third quarter of each year. After testing and bug fixes are completed, the stable update is released in the fourth quarter. However, with One UI 7.0, the beta is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, and the stable version will be released in early 2025 with the Galaxy S25 series.

One UI 7.0 marks a major change in interface design. The update brings new app icons, a quick panel with two pages of notifications and quick settings, new charging animations, a new battery icon, larger notifications with rounded corners, and smoother animations and movements.
