Samsung is rolling out One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are the only three tablet models on the priority list for updating to One UI 6.1. There is currently no official information about when other Galaxy tablet models will be upgraded.

They are also the only three tablet models that the company says will experience Galaxy AI through One UI 6.1. Samsung is looking into the possibility of bringing Galaxy AI to older high-end devices. For now, however, only high-end Galaxy phones and tablets announced in 2023 are eligible.

The Galaxy Tab S9 series in the European region will be updated first. Only the Wi-Fi + 5G option is receiving an update at this time. It may take up to a few days for One UI 6.1 to arrive with the Wi-Fi Only option. However, in some other regions, the Wi-Fi Only option is updated before the Wi-Fi + 5G option.

When the One UI 6.1 update arrives, you can download it by opening the Settings app, then navigating to Download and Install โ†’ Software update.

One UI 6.1 rolled out later than we expected. Also, depending on the region you live in, you may have to wait a few more days for the update to land on your device. The reason is because One UI 6.1 is rolled out gradually in stages.
