After being officially introduced at MWC 2024, Samsung's new wearable device called Galaxy Ring is receiving a lot of attention from users. The Korean company also showcased this product showing off its stunning design. Now, information about the battery life as well as the market launch date of the Galaxy Ring has also been revealed.

Samsung recently confirmed with Financial News that the Galaxy Ring will have a battery life of about 5 to 9 days, depending on the user's usage. This can be considered an advantage of the device when competitors such as UltraHuman and RingConn have a lower estimated battery life, from 4 to 6 days. It even beats the week-long battery life of the Oura smart ring.

Having a long battery life can give users peace of mind because they don't have to charge it too many times. The Galaxy Ring is able to achieve this due to the lack of a screen. However, this is also a drawback because you can only track information about your health through a connected smartphone.

Galaxy Ring also cannot make calls, but this is not very important. If you need a wearable device that can make calls, check out the Galaxy Watch line. The price of this smart ring has not yet been disclosed. Samsung confirmed to The Elec that the Galaxy Ring will be released in the second half of this year. According to predictions from the technology world, this product may be officially announced with Samsung's new folding devices in July 2024.
