After the Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy Tab Active series, it is the Galaxy A series' turn to upgrade to One UI 6.1, with the Galaxy Tab A9 being the first model in the series to experience the latest software.
On Samsung's European community forum, a user confirmed that One UI 6.1 has landed on their Galaxy Tab S9 4G (with model number SM-X115). According to the shared screenshot, the latest update is 1503.31MB in size and has Baseband version X115XXU2BXE2.
We don't have a complete changelog for this update yet. Even so, we think One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy Tab A9 adds every new feature that the mid-range Galaxy phones get. It's no surprise that the Galaxy Tab A9 doesn't get the Galaxy AI experience. If you still don't know what Galaxy AI is, you can read this article.
The update has now arrived in Europe. We expect Samsung to expand it to other regions, including Vietnam, in the next few days. The company should also quickly roll out One UI 6.1 for Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ that only support Wi-Fi.
