October 2024 update fixes over 40 security vulnerabilities

The October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series fixes a total of 42 security vulnerabilities. 30 of which affect all Android devices. The rest only affect Galaxy devices.

Additionally, there is a patch that is only available for certain Galaxy devices running certain Exynos processors, and the Exynos 2200 inside the Galaxy S22 series is not included.

Galaxy phones and tablets will only receive security updates until the end of the year. While the One UI Beta Program will be held in certain markets, the stable release of One UI 7.0 has been pushed back to early next year. The Galaxy S25 will be the first series to run One UI 7.
