Samsung recently registered trademark names for its next two large folding screen phone models in 2024 and 2025.

GalaxyClub recently discovered that Samsung has registered the trademarks “Galaxy Z Fold 6” and “Galaxy Z Fold 7” in Korea. This is a very surprising move when the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 were just launched not long ago. In the past, the company often paid little attention to registering the names of its devices early, but things have changed since folding screen phones took center stage.

Of course, it's about a year before the Galaxy Z Fold 6 officially launches, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will take even longer than that. However, it is necessary for Samsung to pre-register the names of these products as the folding phone market is becoming more and more competitive. It also shows the Korean company's seriousness in this field.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to be codenamed Q6, while Galaxy Z Flip 6 is codenamed B6. While the clamshell folding phone is expected to get a major upgrade, the large-screen model could get a new design that most users are looking forward to. It's unclear whether the Galaxy Z Fold 6's camera will have any hardware changes, but anyway, we don't have too much hope about this.
