Samsung has released a new beta of One UI Watch 6 for the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6. This is the sixth beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 and the fifth for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.

The baseband version of the update ends with the characters ZXI8 for all three Galaxy Watch models. Here is a translation of the changelog for the update:

  • Improved system stability and optimized system performance
  • Improved current battery consumption issues
  • Improved application execution performance
  • Improved network interoperability issues
  • Other improvements

The changelog is quite generic. Samsung has used a similar changelog for previous betas. This is not surprising since the company has been developing One UI Watch 6 for the Galaxy Watch series for a while now. It is likely that Samsung will release a stable version soon.

It’s worth noting, though, that the previous One UI Watch 6 betas for the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 were rumored to be the final betas. However, those were clearly false predictions.

The One UI Watch 6 Beta program began in June this year, a month before Samsung unveiled One UI 6.1.1 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. While Samsung has already started rolling out One UI 6.1.1 to eligible devices, the One UI Watch 6 is still in beta. Hopefully, that will change soon.
