Since the first beta of Android 15 was released last month, it's no surprise that Samsung sent a team of programmers to develop the next major release of One UI: One UI 7.0.

There are signs online that the development of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 is progressing smoothly. Tests for the Galaxy S24 series have been spotted.

One UI 7.0 is being tested internally

One of the first betas of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series has been spotted on the internal server with Baseband version S928BXXU2BXE8. This leak doesn't tell us about the changes to One UI 6.0, but there are reports of them.

A report says One UI 7.0 may feature vertically scrolling app screens. This will significantly change the way users access applications on the device. Additionally, it's possible that One UI 7.0 optimizes certain elements to improve battery life on Galaxy phones and tablets. Besides, of course, there will be some interface changes.

There will certainly be more information coming out in the next few months before Samsung officially announces the One UI 7.0 Beta Program in the second half of the year.
