Samsung has just released One UI 6.1 – which comes pre-installed on the latest Galaxy S24 series – for many older high-end products. Of course, the Galaxy S23 series is on the list. However, One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S23 series does not have a super cool feature on the Galaxy S24 series: Ambient photo wallpaper.

Basically, this feature provides multiple animations for the wallpaper on the lock screen and home screen based on the weather and time. For example, if it is snowing outside, there will be snowfall on the wallpaper. This is one of the most interesting features of One UI 6.1. Unfortunately, you can't experience Ambient Photo Wallpaper on the Galaxy S23 series as well as the new high-end devices upgraded to One UI 6.1.

Luckily, One UI 6.1 for Galaxy S23 still offers the Generative Wallpaper feature. As the name suggests, you can create wallpapers by combining predefined keywords. You can use this feature by holding down the idle screen and selecting wallpaper and styles. Then, navigate to Change Wallpaper → Creative → Generate.
