Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 has been highly appreciated by both users and the technology community after its launch last August.
According to a new report, it seems that Samsung plans to release a new variant of this folding-screen smartphone, called "Retro Edition".
The images of the Z Flip5 Retro Edition have been posted by the blog MSPowerUser and show the phone with a blue back and matte finished frame. This gives the phone a classic look, which is sure to appeal to certain groups of customers.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro Edition is expected to be just a color-changing version of the regular Galaxy Z Flip5. There are no other changes to the phone's hardware or software. This means this product will use a 3.4-inch OLED screen on the back, fingerprint scanner on the side, dual camera setup, USB Type-C port, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal memory, and 3,700mAh battery like the regular Z Flip5.
Even so, the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro Edition will definitely appeal to some users looking for a foldable phone with a unique design. The blue color scheme and matte finish frame give the phone a classic look.
