Samsung kicked off October 2024 with its 2024 Developer Conference, where it shared important information about its software and products. For example, the One UI 7.0 developer beta will be released later this year, while the stable version won’t be released until next year. This has disappointed many fans.
On the other hand, Samsung is never one to miss when it comes to monthly security updates. Starting on October 5, it has been rolling out the October 2024 security update for its Galaxy phones and tablets.
The Galaxy S24 FE – which was launched in late September 2024 – is the first Galaxy device to receive the update. Many other Galaxy phones and tablets will also receive the update soon.
The October 2024 security update patches multiple vulnerabilities to improve the overall security of Galaxy devices. Samsung has released details about the update.
