The Galaxy S23 FE was launched a year ago with either Exynos or Snapdragon depending on the market. As usual, many have been wondering what processor this year's Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by.

Leaks and rumors about the Galaxy S24 FE have given us the answer. With the product just launched, we can confirm the previous rumors and leaks.

Galaxy S24 FE uses Exynos 2400e regardless of market

The Galaxy S24 FE is powered by Exynos processor regardless of market, including the US, Canada, and China, which usually receive Snapdragon variants of Galaxy S phones.

However, the Galaxy S24 FE does not use Exynos 2400 like the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. Instead, Samsung equips the product with an Exynos 2400e processor. Compared to the Exynos 2400, the Exynos 2400e has a slightly lower clock speed of the Cortex-X4 CPU core. This is the most powerful core among the ten cores that the Exynos 2400 and Exynos 2400e have.

The Cortex-X4 core of the Exynos 2400e is clocked at 3.11GHz instead of 3.21GHz like the Exynos 2400. Meanwhile, the other CPU cores are not clocked down. Based on what we know, the GPU is not changed at all. So it can be said that the Galaxy S24 FE has the same performance as the Exynos variant of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.

Power saving capabilities are also not affected because both the Exynos 2400 and Exynos 2400e are manufactured on the 4nm process.

However, unlike the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ โ€“ which come with 12GB of storage, the Galaxy S24 FE comes with 8GB of storage regardless of storage option. In return, this is the first time a Fan Edition phone has 512GB of storage.
