One UI is already incredibly customizable. However, you can customize One UI even more with the Good Lock app. Samsung seems to be planning to make Good Lock even more powerful with the One UI 7.0 update that will be released early next year.
Some screenshots of Good Lock's Home Up module for One UI 7.0 have surfaced online, showing off its new, in-depth customization capabilities.
Basically, the Home Up module lets you customize the One UI launcher on your Galaxy phone. The current version of Home Up lets you tweak the layout of the recent apps screen, home screen, and apps screen. You can even increase or decrease the size of folders.
According to leaks, Samsung is taking Home Up's customization capabilities to the next level with One UI 7.0. More specifically, you’ll be able to tweak the return-to-home animation with options like “Pixel by Pixel” and “The scent of a certain fruit.” The latter option seems to be inspired by the iPhone.
With the “Simple tuning” option, there will be a slider that lets you speed up or slow down the animation. Meanwhile, the “Advanced tuning” option lets you tweak every detail of the animation, including duration, aspect ratio, opacity, and more.
There are also more personalization options for Large Folders, including overall size and grid size.
One UI 7.0 will enhance Good Lock capabilities
Based on leaked screenshots, One UI 7.0’s new animation is highly customizable, allowing you to tweak every detail with the Home Up module. Samsung may also enhance the capabilities of other Good Lock modules with One UI 7.0.
The Home Up module for One UI 7.0 is now available for download from APKMirror. However, you won't be able to launch it at the moment since One UI 7.0 hasn't been released yet.
