Last week, Google announced that it would start offering Gemini Live for free on Android. However, at the time, Android users still had to pay to use Gemini Live. Fortunately, things are starting to change.

According to a new report from 9to5Google, someone reported that they were able to use Gemini Live on their Android device without having to sign up for Gemini Advanced.

In other words, you should see a sound wave icon with a star in the Gemini app on your Galaxy device. If you press that button, you can chat with Gemini normally. You can also interrupt Gemini if โ€‹โ€‹you want.

I think Google is rolling out Gemini Live for Android users for free in stages. In other words, some people may get to experience Gemini Live for free before everyone else. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to speed up the process.
