Samsung's Galaxy AI is quite handy, especially for breaking down language barriers. When it was first introduced in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Galaxy AI could only handle 13 languages. However, Samsung has improved the situation with many new languages and dialects supported.

Samsung announced in a post that it is adding three new languages to Galaxy AI: Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian. In addition, three new dialects are supported: Australian English, Cantonese, and Canadian French. The update will be rolled out in April, with more languages likely to be supported in the near future. After updating your device, to download and use the above language or dialect, simply navigate to Settings โ†’ General Management โ†’ Language Packs.

Galaxy AI is an extremely useful set of features that first appeared on the Galaxy S24 series. Now, Galaxy AI has become even better with many new languages supported. For example, the powerful Note Assistant can recognize handwriting in more languages. Plus, it can summarize your notes or turn them into handy bulleted lists, making organizing your thoughts easier. Additionally, Samsung Internet can summarize web pages.

Another outstanding tool is Live Interpreter. It basically acts as a translator for conversations. A live interpreter translates what you say into a language the other person understands and vice versa.

More languages will be added in the near future

Not stopping there, Samsung also plans to add more languages later this year, including Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, and Swedish. In addition, Traditional Chinese and European Portuguese are also on the list.

We were impressed with Galaxy AI on the Galaxy S24 series. While the multi-purpose Search Field feature is pretty cool, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Galaxy AI also has many other cool features to make your life easier.
