Samsung has now started updating the October 2023 patch for the Galaxy S23 series. The update is now available to users in Europe and India, and will soon be available in more parts of the world in the coming days.

The latest update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra is codenamed S911BXXS3AWIF and S918BXXS3AWIG, in Europe and India respectively. It has a capacity of about 350MB and only includes the October 2023 security patch, which fixes many security holes from the previous update.

If you are a Galaxy S23 series user, try checking for the new update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Galaxy S23 was launched with One UI 5.1.1 interface based on Android 13. The Korean company has released One UI 6.0 Beta based on Android 14 for this product line in certain regions. The testing program is about to end as users received the 6th update a few days ago. The stable version will likely be released this month.
