Samsung will release One UI 6.1 update for high-end Galaxy phones and tablets. However, the company still does not forget its mission of providing security updates for devices in the mid-range and low-cost segments. Currently, the company is providing the March 2024 security patch for both the US carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy A32 5G variants as well as the US carrier-unlocked A52 5G variant.
As for the carrier-locked Galaxy A32 variant, it has firmware version A326USQSDDXC2. Meanwhile, the firmware for the non-carrier unlocked model in the US is A326U1UESDDXC2.
For Galaxy A52, the carrier-unlocked variant's firmware build number will be changed to A526U1UESCFXC6 after the update. The March 2024 security patch fixes a total of 45 security vulnerabilities. It is expected that Samsung will release an update for the carrier-unlocked version of the Galaxy A52 5G in the next few days.
To be able to check and download this latest security update, go to the Settings app > Software Update > Download and install. If you don't see the update after doing the above, it means the new firmware is not yet available for your device. Samsung may roll out this security update at different times. In that case, you will have to wait a few more hours or days for the update to reach your device.
