Samsung appears to be getting closer to launching the One UI 7.0 Beta program as the first updates have been spotted on its servers.
Samsung is gearing up to roll out the first beta update for One UI 7.0, its highly anticipated Android 15-based user interface for the Galaxy S24 series. Test firmware versions of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have been spotted on Samsung's servers, suggesting that users of the series won't have to wait much longer to get their hands on them.
According to the leak, the first beta build was spotted on the Galaxy S24 Ultra in India and Europe. The beta has now been expanded to six of the seven eligible countries, including the US, UK, Germany, Poland, India, and South Korea. While China is not on the list yet, it is expected to be added soon.
Samsung typically rolls out its beta program in phases. The first phase usually applies to major markets like Germany, South Korea, and the United States, before expanding to other countries in the second phase. However, this year, Samsung may test the beta release in all eligible markets at the same time, to provide a more synchronized experience.
In addition to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung also plans to expand the beta program to premium Galaxy devices launched in 2023 and 2024. Users who own eligible devices will need to register through the Samsung Members app to experience new features early.
One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 promises to bring many interface improvements, new features, and optimized performance. Samsung is expected to release the stable version of One UI 7.0 alongside the Galaxy S25 series in 2025. If you own a Galaxy S24, get your device ready to join the One UI 7.0 beta program and explore the latest upgrades.
