After the launch of the high-end Galaxy S24 phone line, Samsung will continue to prepare to launch two highly anticipated mid-range phone lines, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. Although both products do not have an official announcement date, the Galaxy A35 appeared on an online benchmark yesterday.
Galaxy A35 benchmark scores revealed on Geekbench
According to the leak, the Galaxy A35 was discovered on Geekbench with model number SM-A356U. The device is equipped with Exynos 1380 processor and 6GB RAM in the US market. It uses a One UI 6.0 customized interface based on the Android 14 operating system.
Measurement results on Geekbench 5 show that the Galaxy A35 scored 697 points in the single-core test and 2,332 points in the multi-core test.
Galaxy A35 possesses a Key Island design
With model number SM-A356U, the Galaxy A35 is a 5G smartphone with an s5e8835 motherboard. This proves that it will be equipped with an Exynos 1380 chip instead of an Exynos 1480 as rumored. The predecessor Galaxy A34 product line does not use the same chip as the A54, so, likely, the upcoming Galaxy A55 will not share the same Exynos 1480 chip with the cheaper version, the Galaxy A35.
In terms of design, previously leaked renders show that the Galaxy A35 will have a similar appearance to other A-series models in 2024. It will have a modern screen design with flat borders and buttons. The slightly jutting side is called Key Island.
Other information including price and product availability is currently undisclosed.
