Introduced with the Galaxy S24 series, Circle to Google Search is a handy feature, and Google is making it better every day by adding new capabilities.
Last week, the company upgraded Circle to Google Search with the ability to Share. Now, the company is adding another capability it has been working on since May: scanning barcodes and QR codes.
According to @MishaalRahman, Circle to Google Search can now scan barcodes and QR codes on the screen. For example, if you're using Samsung Internet to surf the web, you can invoke the feature and select an area of ββthe screen with a barcode or QR code to scan. The device will then display the results. This new capability makes Circle to Google Search an even more useful tool.
Google has been working on this feature since at least May of this year, and it's finally rolling it out to the public. It is still unclear whether the company will push the new feature by releasing an update to the Google app or upgrading the server.
We hope that the company will continue to add more capabilities to Circle for Google search in the future. Remember to visit SamCafe regularly if you do not want to miss any hot news about this feature!
