Remember AR Emoji on Galaxy phones and tablets? It was a direct competitor to Apple's Animoji. However, Samsung failed to realize the full potential of AR Emoji. With One UI 7.0, AR Emoji has been renamed Galaxy Avatar, but has it improved? Let's find out in this article.

AR Emoji renamed Galaxy Avatar with One UI 7.0

Samsung has put everything related to Galaxy Avatar in one place. However, it doesn't seem to have added any additional options or improvements. Everything from hairstyles to outfits looks the same as before. You can see the options that Galaxy Avatar offers in the screenshot below.

As usual, the Galaxy Avatar you create will be synced across all your Galaxy phones and tablets via Samsung Cloud. The Avatar Camera and Avatar Stickers can be accessed from Galaxy Avatar. As you can see below, you can change the look of your face and body as well as your outfit in Galaxy Avatar.

It’s disappointing to see that Samsung hasn’t made any improvements to the Galaxy Avatar virtual avatar. This time, Samsung had the chance to do something great, but they just rebranded the feature. Hopefully, future One UI 7.0 betas will improve Galaxy Avatar.
