Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 along with the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and the Galaxy Buds 3 series at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10.
It is known that information about these products has been shared quite a lot in recent times. In the latest leak, famous leaker Evan Blass shared images and detailed specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip6.
As you can see, the Galaxy Z Flip6 has a very similar design to its predecessor, the Z Flip5. However, if you pay close attention, it seems that the circle around the rear camera modules on Flip6 is thicker and clearer. The screen borders also appear to be the same thickness.
The main upgrades of this phone will come from the internal hardware. Specifically, the Galaxy Z Flip6 is said to have a 6.7-inch screen, like its predecessor, using a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, supporting Full-HD + resolution (1,080 x 2,640 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate.
Regarding photography capabilities, the phone will have a 50MP main camera on the back with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the Z Flip6 is said to use a 32MP sensor instead of 10MP like the previous generation to bring sharper, more detailed selfies or video calls to users.
In terms of performance, the phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The chipset will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. Surprisingly, the source claims that the phone could be a bit thicker at 7.4mm. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip5 has a 6.9mm thick body. In return, the device will have a larger 4,000 mAh battery, promising better battery life for users.
