Typically, Samsung starts testing the next version of Android right after Google's I/O conference in May and releases the stable version sometime between October and December starting with the Galaxy S series.

However, this year, Samsung is still busy releasing One UI 6.1.1, which has many new Galaxy AI features, to many old high-end Galaxy products. Therefore, the company has delayed the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 until early next year. More specifically, Samsung will launch One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series.

Recently, a mockup of the One UI 7.0 user interface on the Galaxy S25 Ultra was shared by @UniverseIce on X. Thanks to that, we can admire the new quick panel.

The One UI 7.0 quick panel seems to be learned from iOS 18 with many small tiles of pre-defined sizes. Each tile has rounded corners and is transparent. This information is confirmed by a leak from last week, which showed that the One UI 7.0 app drawer, home screen, and Settings app are very different from their predecessors. In addition, the battery indicator and Camera app have also been redesigned.

The latest leak from @UniverseIce has confirmed the rumor that One UI 7.0 will be a complete overhaul of the interface. Therefore, it may take some time for Samsung fans to get used to the new interface of the Galaxy S25 series.
