Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S22 series in the US is being updated to One UI 6.1. The update resumed in Korea the other day after being suspended. Earlier yesterday, the update landed on the Galaxy S22 series in Europe.

This update brings a few Galaxy AI features and a few other small improvements.

The Galaxy S22 series is updated to One UI 6.1 with several new AI features

Samsung has announced that it is releasing One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S22 series. This update appears to have landed on devices using the AT&T network. Hopefully, other mobile carriers in the US will soon deploy One UI 6.1 to users. Since this is a major update, it would be better if you download One UI 6.1 over Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy S22 series will get several Galaxy AI features, including Creative Wallpaper, Smart Browser, Smart Chat Assistant, Circle to Search with Google, Creative Post-Production, Translation Assistant, Transcription Live translation, powerful Note Assistant and Recording Assistant.

If you live in the US and own a Galaxy S22 series, you can now check if the new update has landed on your device by navigating to Settings → Software Update → Download and setting.
