Samsung took a long time to roll out the first One UI 7.0 Beta for the Galaxy S24 series, but users may not have to wait long for the second beta update. According to Tarun Vats on X (Twitter), the update could be released this week, specifically on December 10 or 12.
While Samsung's software release schedule can often be subject to change, December 12 seems more likely. That date falls on Thursday, when Samsung chose to roll out the first beta program on December 5.
Once the second beta update is released, Samsung is expected to expand the One UI 7.0 Beta program to more countries. Currently, the program is only available in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, India, Poland, and China. The first four countries have joined on day one of the rollout.
The question is whether Samsung will expand the One UI 7.0 Beta program to other devices at the same time as the Galaxy S24 receives the second beta. This possibility is quite low, as the company seems to be focusing on finalizing the firmware for the Galaxy S24 series before moving on to other devices. Currently, there is no sign that the beta for other models has been posted on its servers, except for some internal testing.
Galaxy S24 users can expect new improvements from this second beta, as Samsung continues to perfect the One UI 7.0 interface. Stay tuned to SamCafe for the latest updates on the release schedule and new features of One UI 7.0!
