If you’ve been waiting for One UI 7.0, you might be disappointed after hearing this news. According to a rumor, the One UI 7.0 Beta Program won’t start anytime soon.

More specifically, in a post on X, @UniverseIce said, “There are no plans to launch it [One UI 7.0 beta] anytime soon.” The source didn’t specify a date, so it’s unclear whether “anytime soon” is the same as a report from last week.

Last week, it was reported that the One UI 7.0 Beta Program could launch in the third week of August.

One UI 6.1.1 Takes Priority

According to recent reports and leaks, Samsung may have delayed the start date of the One UI 7.0 Beta Program to focus on bringing One UI 6.1.1 to more devices.

One UI 6.1.1 was announced with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July. The update will soon be rolling out to some older Galaxy foldables, Galaxy tablets, and even some flagships.

The One UI 6.1.1 update will bring new Galaxy AI features to older flagships. However, if the rumors are to be believed, One UI 7.0 is a bigger update.

One UI 7.0 will change many UI elements, bring new animations, and even add more Galaxy AI features. Whenever the One UI 7.0 Beta Program starts, it will only be available in a limited number of markets. If all goes well, the first stable version should be released before the end of the year. We'll let you know as soon as we have more information.
