Samsung will return to Computex after 13 years to demonstrate AI solutions

In recent years, Samsung Electronics has focused mainly on trade shows like CES and IFA, along with its own Unpacked and developer events. A new report from South Korea suggests that Samsung will be attending Computex again this year after a 13-year absence.

Computex is one of the world's largest computer and technology trade shows. The fair takes place annually in Taiwan, but Samsung has not attended Computex since 2012.

As the tech industry shifts toward AI powered by advanced semiconductor solutions, more companies are now paying more attention to Computex.

Tech companies are looking to forge new partnerships for the new era. They can do so at Computex. The next trade show is scheduled to take place from May 20 to 23.

While Computex used to focus primarily on computer components like graphics processors and motherboards, the tech industry’s shift toward AI has made Computex’s theme more broad, now including AI hardware and solutions.

The report says Samsung could return to Computex in 2025, where it will showcase AI-related technology, semiconductors, and high-bandwidth memory (HBM).

One of Samsung’s biggest rivals, SK Hynix, will also be at Computex 2025. SK Hynix could showcase its new HBM4 solutions there.
