The Galaxy S24 series has a lot of AI features to help you edit your photos. Recently, it looks like the Object Erase feature will get a Magnetic Lasso tool, making photo editing even easier.
Those who know how to edit photos may already know the Lasso tool. It allows you to circle an object to cut, copy, delete, etc. that object. A related tool is called Magnetic Lasso, which has the ability to follow the contours of objects.
Now, in One UI 6.1, the Gallery app's Delete Object feature lets you use the Magnetic Lasso tool. Instead of letting you draw a circle around objects in a photo, Magnetic Lasso detects the object you want to select and follows their outline.
This is a great update as users can now use different tools depending on their needs. When Magnetic Lasso is not used, you can circle objects without fear of the circle changing shape depending on the object's shape.
Meanwhile, if you press the Magnetic lasso key in the upper right corner of the screen, the shape of the circle will be changed automatically as soon as you lift your finger off the screen.
Samsung's Creative Post-Production feature is impressive when compared to similar features from the competition, such as the Pixel line's Magic Editor. Additional features such as Delete Objects open up many new possibilities for users, thereby greatly increasing the user experience.
