The Galaxy Fit 2 smart bracelet was launched in 2020 and until now, its successor has not been released. It seems that the company has focused more on smartwatch products instead of this product line. In 2022, it was reported that Samsung is actually developing the Galaxy Fit 3 and also leaked images of this new generation smart bracelet. Now, some more images of the Galaxy Fit 3 have been revealed right on Samsung's website.
Samsung revealed images of the Galaxy Fit 3 smart bracelet
Samsung has posted images of the Galaxy Fit 3 smart bracelet on its website faster than expected. According to the revealed images, it will appear in three basic colors: black, orange, and silver. However, the Galaxy Fit 3 will be sold in three color options: Gray, Rose Gold, and Silver. In addition, the device's strap design is similar to the Galaxy Watch 6 series with soft, flexible silicon material and a quick-release button that allows easy strap conversion. Samsung will likely sell the strap in many different colors.
Galaxy Fit 3 has a 1.61-inch OLED screen with an image density of 302 PPI. Users can track various workout metrics, a list of pre-installed exercises, and the battery charge level displayed on the device screen. As seen from previous reports and a device in this segment, the Galaxy Fit 3 can deliver an ultra-long battery life of up to 21 days under typical usage conditions and scenarios. The device is said to weigh just 21g and has a sleek design. It is expected that it could cost nearly twice as much as its predecessor, the Galaxy Fit 2.
The Galaxy Fit 3 is expected to run rtOS instead of Wear OS like the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer Samsung smartwatches. It may include several workout modes, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sync with Samsung Health. The launch of the Galaxy Fit 3 will become a formidable competitor to the Fitbit Charge 6 and Xiaomi Band 8.
