It's been two weeks since the One UI Watch Beta Program ended. At the time, many thought that Samsung would release the stable version of One UI 6.0 Watch for older Galaxy Watch models next week. However, it didn't.
Fortunately, it looks like Samsung is ready to release the stable version of One UI 6.0 Watch as it's updating the Health app.
The stable version of One UI 6.0 Watch could be released soon after the Samsung Health app is updated
Samsung has released a new update (version 6.28.6.003) for Health. The update adds some new features found on the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to older Galaxy Watch models.
The Galaxy Watch 4 and newer running Wear OS 5 can now offer an Energy Score to help you improve your daily health. They can also provide personalized health tips.
The changelog mentions that you can now set health goals to get helpful tips on how to reach them.
The AGEs index – which reflects your body’s metabolic rate – is also mentioned in the changelog. However, this feature is only available on the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. So, it might be a mistake for Samsung to include it in the changelog. Samsung has also fixed a few bugs and introduced a few improvements.
Health now supports new features on the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 series. So, Samsung might be ready to roll out the stable version of the One UI 6.0 Watch to those who are not part of the One UI Watch Beta Program.
Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6 owners who are part of the program have already received the stable version.
