The Galaxy A52 series (including the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A52s) will receive a new software update this month. After receiving the August 2024 security patch less than two weeks ago, the Galaxy A52 series now has improved stability and reliability.
The new update for the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, and Galaxy A52 5G can be identified by the Baseband version A52xxXXU9GXH1. At the time of writing, it appears that the new update has only been released in a few countries in Asia. However, other regions will also receive the update in the coming days.
As mentioned, this update only improves the stability and reliability of the device. The changelog does not discuss anything else.
Given the age of the Galaxy A52 series at this point, it’s no surprise that the update doesn’t add anything noteworthy to the user experience. After all, unlike their successors, the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A52s aren’t eligible for the Circle to Search feature on Google.
To download the latest update for your Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52s, or Galaxy A52 5G, open your device’s Settings app, navigate to Software update, and select Download and Install.
