Samsung has rolled out the January 2024 update for the Galaxy S22 phone along with several other mid-range and high-end smartphones. Now, the company has released another update for the Galaxy S22. This is also quite surprising because before, the company usually did not release two updates in the same month for its older phones.

The new Galaxy S22 update brings improved camera performance

The new software update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with firmware version code S90xBXXU7DXA6. Currently, it is being released in European countries with a download size of about 250MB. According to the official changelog for this version, it will help enhance camera performance on the Galaxy S22. However, it is unclear which parts of the camera will be improved. Additionally, the update also includes common bug fixes and stability improvements. Previously, the Galaxy S22 series received the January 2024 security patch that fixes 75 discovered security vulnerabilities.

The Galaxy S22 was launched two years ago and came with Android 12 built-in.
