Samsung Galaxy S25 receives first software update

The Galaxy S25 series has just hit the shelves, and the first users have started receiving their devices. If you're one of them, check it out now because the first software update is ready to download.

According to SamMobile, the update is currently only available in the US and Europe. Users in the US will receive software version S93xUSQU1AYA1, while users in Europe will get S93xBXXU1AYA1. The update comes with the December 2024 security patch.

It's worth noting that the update size is up to 24GB, almost double that of the first update for the Galaxy S24. It's not clear what specific improvements are causing this huge increase in size.

Currently, Samsung users are still waiting for the official One UI 7 update for previously released Galaxy devices. However, if you want to experience the latest Galaxy AI features, the best way is to get the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
