The Galaxy S24 FE has just joined the list of devices receiving the January 2025 security patch from Samsung, just a week after the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra were updated.

The update is currently rolling out in Europe and the US and is expected to expand to other countries and regions soon. The update, codenamed S721BXXS3AXL1 or S721USQS3AXL1 (depending on the country), focuses on improving security and making the device safer from potential security threats.

Users can check and install the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The next major update for the Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be Android 15 with One UI 7.0. While Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users in some countries have been able to experience the beta version of One UI 7.0 since early December, the Galaxy S24 FE model is not included in the list of supported beta testing programs.
