Samsung recently rolled out a new One UI 6.0 Beta update for the Galaxy S23 series, but it turned out to be just a mistake. The company has now withdrawn the rollout and urged users who installed the update to roll back to the previous version.

The latest One UI 6.0 update, whose codename ends with “ZWI4“, was released to some Galaxy S23 users in Europe. The letter “I” is ninth in the English alphabet, indicating that this is the September 2023 update. Since the One UI 6.0 Beta 2 version has a codename ending in “ZWHO“, this could be the Next One UI 6.0 Beta update for the Galaxy S23 series.

The posted screenshots show some changes in Beta 3 compared to Beta 2. Unfortunately, the implementation was just a mistake so we don't have much information. Even the administrator of the Samsung user forum has confirmed this. However, this is also a sign that the One UI 6.0 Beta 3 update is almost ready and could be rolled out at any time.

Currently, only the Galaxy S23 series and a mid-range phone model, the Galaxy A54, are participating in One UI 6.0 testing. This may surprise many users because, in the past, Samsung often deployed tests for high-end phones before bringing it to lower-segment models. It's still unclear when the Galaxy S22 will receive One UI 6.0 Beta, hopefully, users of this product line won't have to wait much longer.
