Samsung's Good Lock is one of the best interface and user experience customization applications in the Android ecosystem. The application has many modules, each of which is regularly updated with improvements and new features. However, sometimes updates contain bugs, including errors related to icon alignment that exist in the QuickStar module.

The company said the error would be fixed by the end of this year.

QuickStar's icon alignment error for Chinese and Korean characters will be fixed with an update

The moderators of the Samsung Community Forum for Samsung Korea have announced that QuickStar's icon alignment bug will be considered patched with One UI 7.0. This bug causes the icons to be misaligned when the clock in the upper right corner of the screen contains Chinese or Korean characters.

While the QuickStar module may be updated individually, Samsung's software engineers may be busy with the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 update, which will be released a few weeks after the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are introduced. After that, the company will be busy testing One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.

One UI 6.1.1 is said to bring many new Galaxy AI features to eligible premium phone models. Meanwhile, One UI 7.0 could bring many new OS-level features to Galaxy phones and tablets.
