Samsung’s planned expansion of the One UI Beta Program for the Galaxy S24 series to more countries has been pushed back. This also means that the second beta of One UI 7.0 for markets where the program was held has been delayed.

Everyone was expecting the second beta to be released yesterday due to a leak. However, Samsung’s customer support has informed users that the update will be released on December 16.

It’s worth noting that there’s still a chance that Samsung will delay the update again. Samsung often changes plans at the last minute.

While it’s known for pushing new products to market quickly to gain a reputation for being the first to do something, Samsung has taken the opposite approach with the One UI 7.0 betas.

This is a good thing. No one wants their phone to automatically update to a buggy software version that prevents people from turning on their devices, forcing them to factory reset and losing data in the process.

The next One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy S24 series will be released when Samsung is ready, which could be tomorrow, next week, or even next month. Plus, the holiday season is coming up, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung’s software development team were off work and celebrating Christmas and New Year’s with the rest of the world.
