An X user seems to have gotten early access to a device running Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0. They’ve been sharing information about One UI 7.0 for the past few days, and today as well.

The Search bar below the App screen in One UI 7.0 will improve the one-handed experience

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about One UI 7.0 having an option to show the Search bar below the App screen. However, this is the first time we’ve seen it in action.

It’s unclear whether the Search bar will be permanently moved below the App screen. This is a great place to improve the one-handed experience, which was one of the original goals of One UI. However, it’s best to leave the decision up to the user.

There are a number of other changes coming to One UI 7.0. The new software will include an option to not show app names on the Home screen. Samsung is also refreshing the stock app icons – a change that has been criticized by many fans. The lock screen will also be improved.

One UI 7.0 Beta Program Will Soon Let More People Test Out the Changes
